The purpose of this shoot was to photograph the installation of DW Windsor light fittings which formed part of the refurbishment of Broadgate Exchange Square by Maylim contractors. The square is surrounded on 3 sides by office buildings with Liverpool Street station enclosing the south side leading to views across the city. The Pharola light fittings are low level bollards installed within the planted and landscaped areas of the scheme. The challenge here was to show off the light fittings while making sure they weren’t overpowered by the impressive city backdrop.

Composition, leading lines and depth of field were used to make sure that the light fittings featured prominently while retaining the city and station backdrop which formed an important part of the narrative.
