Space Park Leicester - night photography

Day and night shoot architectural shoot for lighting manufacture

Space Park Leicester is a project developed by the University of Leicester to create a collaborative community of industry, academics and students working together to drive growth in space and space-enabled sectors. The site is being developed in 3 phases with the first 2 phases opening in summer 2021 as seen here. When completed the project will cover 5,000 sq m and have cost around £100 million.

My brief was to photograph products for D W Windsor these were Kirium, Pro Mini, Wall and Bollard fittings. Often with this type of job lights are sourced from a number of manufactures which means different colour temperatures have to managed to create a balance look in the final images. As all the fittings were from the same range this meant the final look could be created with a lot of post production.

Thanks to Matt the Building Services Design Engineer from the University of Leicester for organising the shoot and operating all the lighting management software on the night.
