Lighting photography commissioned by Acrospire to show off their newly install guardrail lighting to the Millennium footbridge across the river Usk in Newport, Wales. This type of shoot can take a while to arrange as their are a few factors to consider. The river Usk at low tide is very narrow showing a lot of muddy bank and so the tide needs to be in to get the best shots. As a result we needed to pick an evening when the tide is in at around sunset, due to the way the tides change this only happens about once every two weeks. In addition we also need the clear skies and low wind for the drone shots, because of the variables it can take a couple of months to get the right set of conditions. Luckily most clients are prepared to wait for the best shots.
